MINUTES of Post-Dec. 10, 2008 Annual Meeting of 2009 elected Board of Directors

 

Members present:  Gene Peele, Suzanne Forsythe, Steve Harman, Linda Pickens, George McNulty, Rick Layton, and Willis Vincent.

 

Meeting called to order at 7:45PM on December 10, 2008, by Gene Peele

 

Minutes to be taken by Suzanne Forsythe

Election of Officers for Year 2009:

President:  Motion by Suzanne Forsythe to elect Gene Peele as President.

Motion seconded by Steve Harman.  Unanimously approved.

Vice President:  Motion by Rick Layton to elect George McNulty as Vice President.Motion seconded by Gene Peele.  Unanimously approved.

Secretary:  Motion by Gene Peele to elect Linda Pickens as Secretary.

Motion seconded by Suzanne Forsythe.  Unanimously approved.

Treasurer:  Motion by Gene Peele to elect Suzanne Forsythe as Treasurer.

Motion seconded by Steve Harman.  Unanimously approved.

 

Selection of Regular monthly meeting date for Year 2009:

It was decided that the regular monthly meetings of the HOA Board be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30PM. 

 

Reminder that 2009 Board members are invited to attend the 2008 Board meeting of Dec. 16, 2008.   Dave Meyers, who has volunteered to head up the Abbington Woods Sub-Assn. is also expected to attend and meet the various Board members.

 

Gene will request that the 2008 Board members put together a list of topics and issues that the 2009 Board should address or continue to address.

 

Gene will forward the above information regarding selection of officers and new meeting date to the Taberna Tribune for publication.

 

Motion made to adjourn by Suzanne Forsythe, seconded by George McNulty.  Unanimously approved.  Meeting adjourned at 8:05PM
